Straka Construction & Earthmoving LTD scope of works and experience extends into full scale logging operations. While we do not maintain a full logging crew anymore, we can still advise or assist in dangerous tree removal, small jobs or trims and pruning of large trees/scrub.
HISTORY
The creator and director of Straka Construction & Earthmoving LTD originally ran a full logging company known as Logtorque LTD. This company was successfully run in the Far North prior to the owner relocating to Auckland. Logtorque operated for over 4 years, with machinery over and above 20 tonnes.
DANGEROUS TREE REMOVAL
Due to our experience with all manner of logging and tree-felling, we are happy to work with dangerous tree removal. It isn’t common knowledge that certain trees, such as macrocarpas, can fall over very easily as they have a shallow root system. In high winds or if they begin to die, they can become a hazard to roads, homes, or other buildings. Tall or overgrown trees that have “widow makers” or dead branches that can are simply held up by others are also dangerous to pedestrians or wildlife underneath and we can tend to these, and neatly top trees to bring them back into a manageable size and create a safe environment.
